And how can you communicate the benefits of your solutions and build an age in place or <a href=\"https:\/\/innovatebuildingsolutions.com\/service\/cleveland-roll-in-barrier-free-shower\/\">accessible bathroom<\/a> they\u2019re ecstatic about? Hey- why not try to go beyond one which just \u2018works?\u2019<\/p><p>In this article I\u2019ll present 7 keys (I\u2019ll call them the 7 S\u2019s) for a successful accessible or age in place bathroom remodel. At the end \u2013 whether you\u2019re a \u2018newbie\u2019 to these projects or an \u2018old hat\u2019 I\u2019d love your input and questions about this list AND other items you think are essential to add to it as well.<\/p><p>Now, let\u2019s dig in.<\/p><h2><strong><em>Key #1- You \u2018gotta have safety\u2019. However, if you lead with safety with a capital &#8216;S&#8217;, it could kill your sale! <\/em><\/strong><\/h2><p>I know the knee-jerk reaction when someone says they need an accessible shower, an ADA shower, or they want to \u2018age in place\u2019 is to immediately emphasize safe bathroom products. And here\u2019s a few products I\u2019m talking about.<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/innovatebuildingsolutions.com\/product\/barrier-free-ramped-accessible-roll-in-shower-pans\/\">Ramped shower pans<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/innovatebuildingsolutions.com\/product\/contemporary-shower-accessories\/\">Grab bars<\/a><\/li><li>Bench or <a href=\"https:\/\/innovatebuildingsolutions.com\/product\/contemporary-shower-accessories\/\">fold down seats<\/a><\/li><li>Shower heads with diverter.<\/li><\/ul><p>And while these are all legitimate bathroom \u2018safety\u2019 products, the last thing many owners (and even their adult kids who may be \u2018eyeing their inheritance\u2026..sad, but true) want is a shower which LOOKS SAFE (because maybe safe is just another word for ugly to them)!<\/p><p>In addition, safe to many people also looks \u2018institutional.\u2019 And who like institutional? And while these bathrooms may be functional, why not make them look stylish if your client has the budget to make it happen?
