Bathroom vanity cabinets, tops, bowls, and mirrors through Jeffrey Alexander (manufactured by Hardware Resources) have a lifetime warranty for the original homeowner. They’re warrantied to be free from defects in material and workmanship due to normal wear and tear. If a defect is found the original purchaser will be provided with a new replacement product or component.  

You want the width of your vanity to be as wide as possible without crowding your toilet, tub, or shower. Regarding the vanity depth, make sure if you have full extension drawers, they can be pulled out all the way, and you can stand behind them at the same time. The wider the cabinet, the more counter space you have. Double bowl sinks are available in 60” widths.

It’s recommended a vanity be at least 18” away from the center of the toilet. Check local building codes to make sure you’ve got the correct vanity placement.

Use a cleaner which is safe for wood. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe off the surface before applying your cleaner. Then use a cloth or soft sponge to clean the wood cabinet.

• Use mild detergents or stone soap. Do not use cleaners which contain acid (like bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners or tub and tile cleaners) or abrasive cleaners.
• Rinse and dry the surface after washing. Blot up spills immediately.
• Don’t use vinegar, lemon juice or other cleaners containing acids on natural stone tops.
• Don’t place hot items or abrasive items directly on the stone surface.

Care instructions for natural stone tops

All natural stone tops are pre-sealed from the factory; however, we recommend applying a resin-based penetrating sealer every 6 months because natural stone tops are porous

Not currently. The Jeffrey Alexander vanity program is built around high-quality vanities in standard sizes which are 18”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 48” and 60” wide.

If this is a bathroom you use regularly, disconnect the pipes 1 day before the new vanity installation.

Yes – since these products are unique – you will find variations in tops. Look at samples and the Innovate Building Solutions Visualizer (which will be live in February 2023) to approximate the look of your top.

For maximum resistance to stains and scratches select quartz or cultured marble countertops.

Unless you want a unique countertop that isn’t sold with a matching vanity (examples include glass bathroom countertops or wood tops) – it’s more cost effective to buy a top with the cabinet since you’ll know they’re designed to work together and you’ll save on shipping costs.

The standard height for a bathroom vanity is 36”. However, if you have a family member in a wheelchair, a wall-hung vanity (you’ll want space underneath for the chair) and a height between 28” and 34” is recommended.
